  8. How  can  you  miss  the  song that was number 1 for over 5 weeks by the
  9. fugees  called  killing  me  softly.   Strangly before the song was even
  10. released by the fu-gees i played the orchestral version some days before
  11. and  i  must  say  that  when  i first heard the remake of roberts flaks
  12. original  i  almost  died!  Listen to the orchestral version and compare
  13. them,now  i  haven`t  heard  the  roberta  flak  version (the VERY first
  14. version)  but  this  song is supposed to be about love and thr tones are
  15. supposed  to  be  very  romantic  and  relaxing  and  at  the  same time
  16. emotional,the  current version has completly ruined this wonderfull song
  17. by  adding rap!  along with some terrible samples and a voice that would
  18. embarrass even margarita pracatan from the clive james tv show.

  20. The   fugees  recently  toured  in  harlem,new  york  in  which  a  riot
  21. started....must have been because of their terrible singing!!

  23. Another  example  of  bad  re-makes  can  be found from take thats debut
  24. single  could  it be magic,barry manilow sang the original and was again
  25. very  romantic and sensual but was later turned into a pop track by some
  26. very un-cool men.

  28. I think comedian lenny henry said it best when he quipped that today all
  29. you  need to do is to put a beat behind a old song and it`s a hit so you
  30. would  end  up with BOOM,YEAH,BOOM,YEAH,BOOM,YEAH...who do you think you
  31. are kidding mr hitler!

  38. exactly  a  fan  of  theirs  either.  Give me Steve Vai forcing a guitar
